It is also said that she will be Salman Khan’s arm candy in the Hindi version of Pokkiri where Salman will be playing the role of Vijay. Her scores in Bollywood does not seem to end with just these two films but she will also be involved in a prestigious project named Delhi-6 which will be produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra who had directed Rang De Basanti.Asin plays the lead role opposite Aamir Khan in the Hindi remake of Ghajini which would kick off later next month. The movie is directed by Murugadoss and Ravi K Chandran wields the camera.
When Behindwoods correspondent had called Asin to extend our heartfelt wishes, the actress was not available but her father had spoken on behalf of her. He stated that the actress was indeed very happy and excited about the way her film career is shaping up. When quizzed about Dasavatharam, her dad had remarked that Asin is very fortunate to work with Kamal Hassan and the film will surely be liked by not only her fans but also Kamal’s fans. On her permanently shifting base to Mumbai, he replied that it has not happened now but is certainly on the cards.Â
Also Asin is now cast opposite Salman Khan for another movie in Hindi. Her performance in Tamil has won her name and fame in Hindi now.
